The 2005 Spring New Construction Collection

Welcome to Chicago Agent's 2005 Spring New Construction Collection. Since our first new construction issue last September, the amount of interest-in being included and in obtaining an updated version-has been overwhelming. Given the positive response and our recent expansion in the northern and western suburbs, it is no surprise that there are over four times the number of new-construction properties in this issue than were shown last fall. Again, you'll find single-family homes, condominiums, townhomes, and combination communities, both new and rehabbed.

The Chicago area continues to be one of the most progressive and successful new-construction markets in the country as well as one of the highest in homes sales overall. Developers throughout Chicagoland continue to contribute to these successful sales numbers and a thriving real estate market.

Orren Pickell Designers & Builders are one of the most successful affirmations of this prolific development boom. Orren Pickell (pictured on the cover) and his team have been designing and building fine luxury homes in northern Illinois (as well as southern Wisconsin and western Michigan) for the past 30 years. Recently, Pickell's company won 10 Key Awards for Excellence and five Crystal Key Awards for Innovation from the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago, as well as the 2004 Constructech Award for use of technology in homes. Inside you will find information on some of the luxury, multi-million-dollar home's by Orren Pickell Designers & Builders, as well as nearly 400 other new-construction listings from developers throughout Chicagoland.

We hope agents use the Spring New Construction Collection as the ultimate new-home buyer's guidebook, as it offers one-stop shopping at your fingertips for new homes in Chicago and the Northern and Western suburbs. Then, just when your copy of this issue starts to fall apart, we'll be putting out the 2005 Fall New Construction Collection.
